Is Comcast using a "always-on" system in Massachusets

Wondering if anyone can ell me what they mean by using an alway-on
system and if comcast is always on....

"Always on" normally refers to Internet service. It means that whenever your
computer is on, it's automatically connected to the Internet without having
to wait while the PC connects or dials up when you want to go on line. I
have no idea which Comcast system you are in, but nearly all cable systems
now use DOCSIS compliant intenet service that is always on.
