Hi. 2 quick questions here.
1. How do you reset the memory on a Motorola dct 2000 box?

2. Do digital cable filters work on the "on demand" movies on cable? (Some
companies call them "I control") These are the movies you order and get for
24 hours and use your remote to control it like a vcr?

Unplug power cord. Hold down the power and select buttons while plugging
power back in. This will totally reset the box, but it will not delete pay
per view purchase information. That can only be done by the cable company.

The filters you are talking about block all signals from your box to the
cable company, so any commands from your remote control for video on demand
will not work. Also, since the cable company will not be able to receive
signals from the box, it will end up on a "non-responding converter" report
for further action by the company.

The unit powers back up, but shows channel zero & I am not able to change
channels.
Does it take a while for the unit to re-map itself?
Any ideas?
