Hey all,

I've been without cable for about a month now. I'm a PC Technician by
trade, so I know a bit about troubleshooting. The last guy who came here
finally figured out my box was not getting an IP address. (Well, duh!) He
did it through some really cool status screen that showed all kind of
information about my connection, including MAC, IP, Broadcast-only, etc. I
didn't watch closely enough to see how he got to that screen. Does anyone
know? I'd really like to be able to check that stuff out, if at least for
informational purposes.

Thanks,

Kurt

Press and hold the "+" button until the green light comes on
indicating mail (do this on the STB, not the remote).

Press the "info" button and the diagnostics pages will come up.

Press the ">" button to scan the pages.

Press Exit to exit.

Thanks a bunch,

Now do you know how to reset it so that it redownloads all the channels? (I
saw what he did once, where it ran through what looked like an address
space, counting down in hex).

/k
